Alumna Antunes Presents at ECIS 2013

A recent submission to the 21st European Conference on Information Systems by December 2012 MSE graduate, Ana Antunes, and University of Coimbra Professor, Paulo Rupino da Cunha, has been accepted. The paper, Business Processes the Way They Should Be: Tuning for Low Friction and Sustainability, proposes a novel approach in the identification of pain points in business processes.  These points often undermine the long-term sustainability of a process, and one’s utilization of the tool.  The approach has already been used to identify latent problems in two medium sized organizations.

Ana and Paulo will present their paper early this summer (June 5-8) at Utrecht University in Utrecht, Netherlands.
