Project Sponsor Receives Award Nod

Program friend Jason Wolfe is no stranger to entrepreneurship. The successful founder of numerous start-ups such as MyCoupons.com, Direct Response Technologies, and – more recently – Giftcards.com, Wolfe has a passion for growing brilliant ideas into successful businesses. And, in recognition of Giftcards.com’s remarkable success recently, Wolfe has been nominated by Entrepreneur Magazine for their 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The Masters of Software Engineering Professional Programs wishes to congratulate and is honored to be affiliated with Mr. Wolfe and Giftcards.com. Sponsoring two recent MSIT-SE Projects, Mr. Wolfe had this to say of the partnership:

“We, at GiftCards.com, are happy and honored to be working with CMU’s Software Engineering Professional Program[s] ... The projects we have brought to the table were complex and detailed.  The students have been able to easily understand our unique needs, and then quickly turn around a viable project.  We hope to have many more years working with CMU, and we hope to start to become an employer of choice for the CMU graduates.  This is a step to help to keep CMU talent to remain local.”
