The James E. Tomayko Scholarship
Established in 2006 in remembrance of the much beloved MSE program founder and long-time director, James E. “Coach” Tomayko, the Tomayko Scholarship serves to enrich the program by recognizing, through tuition assistance, one or two exceptional students each year who embody the foundational principles put forth by Coach – hard work, intellectual curiosity, leadership, community mindedness, and an overarching sense of commitment to the program. The scholarship is a critical tool in both recognizing exemplary performance and retaining strong students in need of financial support.
Masters of Software Engineering Program Endowment Fund
As a program-wide endowment, this discretionary fund provides the flexibility and capability to support a wide range of programmatic needs as the arise, grow, and change from year to year. Historically, the endowment has been utilized to establish special projects, launch new program initiatives, and provide professional development opportunities for both students and faculty.
