Chandrabose Aravindan, PhD
Assistant Director, SSN SASE

Dr. C. Aravindan obtained his PhD in Computer Science (knowledge and database updates) from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand in 1995. After completing his PhD, he worked from 1995 to 1997 as a Research Scientist at the University of Koblenz in Koblenz, Germany. From 1998 until 2002, Dr. Aravindan was a professor and head of the Computer Science department at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College in Sivakasi, India.
Dr. Aravindan's research interests include logic programming, soft computing, and high-performance computing, and currently supervises 15 research scholars in these fields. He has completed three funded projects, and is investigating two additional ones. He has published approximately 25 papers in international journals and conferences.
Joining SSN Institutions in July 2002, Aravindan holds the positions of teaching faculty and SSN SASE Assistant Director. At present, he teaches two core courses, Models of Software Development and Architectures for Software Systems.
